Chilli Paneer is an Indo-Chinese dish. which is made from fried, crispy paneer cubes mixed in a spicy sauce. Chilli paneer, which is made crispy and spicy in every restaurant and home in India, is coated with cornstarch and cook with onions, spring onions, capsicum, green chilli sauce.
This pure vegetarian paneer is the first choice of spicy eaters, which brings water to the mouth. We make chilli paneer mainly in two ways. First in the form of dry snacks and an appetizer, and second in the form of gravy, which we can usually serve with roti fried rice at dinner. This is an Indian version of spicy chilli paneer gravy, which is tangy and full of flavour.
How to make chilli paneer ?
1 – To make Chilli Paneer, first cut the paneer into half-inch pieces.
2 – Put cornmeal, white flour, red chilli powder, and black pepper powder in a bowl and mix them with water to make batter.
3 – Add the chopped paneer cubes to the batter and mix.
4 – Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and fry all the paneer cubes.
5 – Fry the paneer cubes till they turn golden brown evenly on both sides.
6 – When the paneer cubes are fried, keep them on a kitchen towel.
7 – Add the ginger, garlic, green chilies, and spring onions to the oil and fry for about 1 minute.
8 – Add a small chopped onion and half a chopped capsicum and cook for two to three minutes.
9 – After the onion and capsicum are lightly cooked, add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp chilli sauce, and 2 tbsp tomato sauce and mix.
10 – Dissolve one spoon of cornflour in 4–5 spoons of water in a bowl and add it to the sauce; mix.
11 – Cook the sauce until it thickens; it will be cooked in about 1–2 minutes. Add the paneer cubes to the sauce and mix.
12 – Take out the chile paneer in a bowl and garnish it with green onions and green chillies. and serve hot.
