French fries

French fries are potatoes fried in oil. It is easy to make French fries at home with a good technique. When children insist on eating something spicy at home, then finger chips are a good option because children are more gourmands and need to eat something all the time. If you are thinking of making something spicy for snacks, then French fries can be a great option.

To make finger chips, you just need four potatoes, oil, and some spices at home, with the help of which you can make delicious french fries in your kitchen.And mixing the right amount of spices with it makes the French fry tasty and crispy. Frying potatoes twice in oil and refrigerating them cooks them properly.

I love home-made French fries, so I like to make this at home. Earlier, when I used to make French fries at home, they could not become so tasty and crispy, but now I can make them better, which makes me happy that I prepared myself to make French fries at home. When I make French fries at home, I cut the potatoes, rub them with salt, freeze them, and fry them directly. These are easy to make, and instant homemade French fries are great.

In many recipes, potatoes are first boiled to make french fries, but to make french fries, I cut the potatoes into sticks, fry them once, keep them in the fridge for half an hour, then fry them again. They become crispy. This is a simple and easy recipe for crispy, delicious French fries. When we soak the cut potatoes in cold water, there is no need to boil them. After frying again, add black salt, chaat masala, and chopped coriander leaves to the French fries. You can use spices according to your taste.

How to make french fries?

1 . First, take about 300 gm of potatoes, wash them thoroughly with water, and peel the potatoes. Peeling potatoes can be optional if your potatoes are good; if the potatoes are not good, it makes the fries tough. I always like to make finger chips by peeling potatoes.

3 . Prepare all the potatoes by cutting them into 1-cm-wide sticks.

4 . To remove excess starch, wash these potato sticks in water 2-3 times, put them in a bowl, and keep them in cold water for 30 minutes.

5 . After 30 minutes, take out the potatoes from the bowl of water and keep them in a sieve to remove all the excess water.

6 . Fold the napkin to press. Pat the potatoes completely dry; start frying only when the potatoes are completely dry.

7 . Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.

8 . As soon as the oil becomes hot, put the cut stick of potato in the oil.

9 . Stir in intervals while frying them for uniform cooking.

10 . Fry/blanch the potatoes in oil for about 1 minute or so. In the first fry, just fry until a slight crust forms on the outside.

11 . After half-frying, take out the potatoes and keep them on a paper kitchen towel. To absorb excess oil, press from above with kitchen towels or napkin paper.

12 . After removing the first batch, you can fry the second batch of potatoes and similarly fry all the potatoes.

13 . When all the potatoes are fried, keep them in a tray and pat them dry with the help of a kitchen towel and napkin.

14 . After drying the oil, keep the tray in the fridge for 30 minutes for extra crispy fries.

15 . After keeping the fried potatoes in the fridge for 30 minutes, take them out.

16 . To fry the potatoes again, heat the pan again. The oil that we used earlier, we will use again for frying potatoes.

17 . Oil will start boiling after adding potatoes. While frying the potatoes, keep stirring in between so that the potatoes get cooked evenly. While frying the potatoes, bubbles will stop forming in the oil or the colour of the potatoes will turn a light golden brown. Or fry the potatoes for 2 to 3 minutes.

18 . After removing the first batch, you can fry the second batch of potatoes and similarly fry all the potatoes.

19 .Take out the potatoes with a slotted spoon and keep them on napkin paper to absorb the extra oil.

20 . When all the potatoes are fried, keep them in a tray and pat them dry with the help of a kitchen towel and napkin.

How to serve french fries ?

21 . After draining the oil, take out the french fries in a bowl.  And you can add black salt, chaat masala, chopped coriander leaves, red chilli powder, or your favourite spices.

22 . Gently shake and toss the bowl to mix the spices and salt well with the finger chips so that the salt and the rest of the spices mix well with the chips. I have also used Maggi masala mix here, as per my choice.

23. French fries can be served hot with any dip of your choice. Here, we have liked to eat it with tomato ketchup and mayonnaise. Sometimes we also like to eat French fries with cilantro chutney.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Potatoes. (300 gm)
  • 4 Cup Water.
  • Oil as per required.
  • Salt As per teste ,You can use black salt & chat masala.
  • Tomatoes ketcup,as per choice.
  • Coriandar leaves.its my favorate.

Instructions

  • Cut the potatoes into 1-cm-thick slices. Cut the potatoes using a knife and cutting board, which may take a few extra minutes. But it is not difficult, because potatoes cut by hand with the help of a knife are correct.
  • Prepare all the potatoes by cutting them into 1-cm-wide sticks.

  • To remove excess starch, wash these potato sticks in water 2-3 times, put them in a bowl, and keep them in cold water for 30 minutes.
